Refund Policy
Effective July 27, 2026
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes work for Renderly AI purchases.
Scope
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes work for Renderly AI (Renderly), an AI video creation service. It applies to purchases made through Renderly's website (Stripe checkout) and, where available, through the Apple App Store.
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
One-time credit pack purchases
Renderly offers one-time credit packs, including the Starter Pack and Creator Pack. These purchases add credits to your account balance for AI generations.
Credit pack purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been delivered to your account, except where required by law or where Renderly determines a refund is appropriate (for example, duplicate charges or verified billing errors).
Subscription purchases
Renderly offers recurring subscriptions, including Creator Weekly and Creator Monthly. Each active billing period grants credits to your account according to the plan shown at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at purchase (weekly or monthly) until cancelled. Renewal charges and credit grants are handled by the payment provider used for your purchase.
Consumed credits
Credits that have already been used for generations are generally not refundable. If you spend credits and later request a refund for the underlying purchase, any approved refund may be limited to unused credits or handled on a case-by-case basis where required by law.
Unused credits
Purchased credits from credit packs do not expire while your account remains active. Subscription credits are added to your account balance each billing period and remain available until used. Unused credits alone do not automatically entitle you to a refund after a purchase is completed.
Duplicate or accidental purchases
If you believe you were charged twice for the same purchase or completed a checkout in error before using credits, contact Renderly support promptly with your account email and purchase details. Verified duplicate or accidental charges may be refunded or corrected at our discretion or as required by law.
Failed generation cases
If a generation fails before completion, Renderly may automatically return reserved credits to your balance when the platform detects a timeout or eligible failure condition.
If you believe credits were not returned correctly after a failed generation, contact support with the job or video details. We may review account and generation records to confirm whether credits were reserved, consumed, or refunded.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method where possible. Timing depends on your bank, card issuer, or platform provider and may take several business days. Refund eligibility is reviewed case by case where the policy does not specify an automatic outcome.
App Store purchases
Purchases made through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple. Refund requests for those transactions may need to be submitted to Apple through Apple's purchase history or report-a-problem tools. Renderly cannot always issue refunds directly for App Store charges, but we can help explain your account status and restore eligible purchases where supported.
Stripe and web purchases
Purchases completed on the Renderly website through Stripe are handled by Renderly support for refund review when eligible. Include your account email, date of purchase, and any receipt or invoice reference when contacting us.
Subscription cancellation
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by law or explicitly approved by Renderly.
On web, you can manage or cancel Stripe subscriptions through billing settings and the Stripe customer portal where available. On iOS, subscription management may be handled through Apple subscription settings.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider before contacting Renderly, we may suspend account access while the dispute is investigated. Please contact support first when possible so we can review billing records and generation history.
